This dead drop is found on the northwest corner of the intersection of South Grand and Pasfield. The building was constructed in 1890 and served as a neighborhood drug store in decades past. Lately, it's fallen into the clutches of artsters who've made it their gallery studio space something or other den of iniquity.
There is a separate but attached rear section, actually a different street address, currently leased as a hair salon. Also facing Pasfield, there is
a side door accessing the front area of the building. The dead drop is to the right of the side door, within the wall identifiable as belonging to the building front.
The filesystem volume is EYEDROPS because it's an old pharmacy now staffed with visual artists. You go to the art pharmacy to get EYEDROPS. Get it? Heh, heh, *cough*.
Prospects are good that it will be well maintained, supposing its presence favorably discovered by the aforementioned artists.
Incidentally, the locations of the first three dead drops deployed in Springfield form the points of an almost perfect equilateral triangle. The fact is the more curious in that this was not at all by design. |
